Q. When and where is Taste of the Town? A. The event takes place on the school grounds on Sanfordville Road in Warwick, NY, on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, from 4pm ‘til 9pm, rain or shine! The event is held in the school gym and under the cover of three adjoining tents, featuring a main tent, a children’s tent, and a new Beer Garden.
Q. What types of food are available at Taste of the Town?
A. You name it! With the vast array of restaurants located throughout our valley, many ethnic varieties are represented.???
Q. Should I bring my kids? Will there be anything that they would enjoy?
A. We encourage you to make Taste of the Town a family night out! There are restaurants that offer food such as pizza that most kids enjoy. Pastries, frozen treats, and candies also make up some of the more popular kids booths.???
Q. My favorite restaurant is never in Taste of the Town. Why not?
A. Restaurant participation is voluntary on the part of each restaurant. Each participating restaurant must complete an application and pay a small booth fee before they can enter. You should speak to the person responsible at your favorite restaurant and encourage them to become part of Taste of the Town.???
Q. I have a restaurant (or work at a restaurant) and would like to participate. How can I become part of Taste of the Town?
A. You should click on the restaurant page of this website and download the restaurant application on that page. There are further instructions there.???
Q. How much does it cost to attend Taste of the Town?
A. There is an admission charge of $5 per person to enter the event. If purchased before the night of the event, the admission charge is $4. Food tickets are sold for $1 with items ranging from 1 to 4 tickets.???
Q. Where can I purchase admission tickets for Taste of the Town?
A. Admission tickets usually go on sale in April and they may be purchased at Saint Stephen’s School's office on Sanfordville Road or at the door on the afternoon of Taste of the Town.???
Q. Where do the proceeds go from Taste of the Town?
A. Taste of the Town is a fundraiser for Saint Stephen’s Catholic School and Parish. All proceeds benefit the school and church.???
